It feels so good to be back into a regular meal planning habit.  I feel better equipped to deal with a busy week ahead if I do this one task on the weekend.  It honestly, takes about 5 minutes - mostly because we use the Menu Planning Board I made last winter.  I love that thing - best $8 I've ever spent. 


What's on our Menu this week:

"Sauce Chicken" (aka Chicken Stew with Curry Sauce)  served with couscous

Simple Marinated Pork Chops with noodles and Roasted Parmesan Cauliflower

Our Fish Stick Hack with peas and mashed potatoes.

Roasted Pork Tenderloin (recipe coming soon - though I've said that before - it's the photo taking that slows the posting - sorry!), Broccoli with 5 Minute Bread.

Better Thank Takeout: Baked Chinese Chicken with Lemon Sauce

We're planning to invite friends over.  So far - no great idea for what the meal will be, but we'll come up with something!  And it will be awesome.

For the kids, we usually do an easy to please recipe - probably our old reliable:  Kids Pizza Chefs.

Do you ever do that?  Feed the kids first and then dig into some real chow with the grow-up friends afterward?  As a rule, we don't have separate meals, except on special nights when the same old just won't do.
