We’re really glad you found us! We’ve got lots to talk about – or well – a few things to talk A LOT about!?
We’re Ed and Robin and we’re a couple who’s really into:
1. Budget DIY Projects that Don’t Look Cheap
We’ve become DIY experts in our 20+ years of homeownership. Early on we learned the basics from our handy dads. Now we just jump in there and figure out creative and beautiful ways to upgrade our home on a budget.
It’s going pretty well – we’ve even been featured in Better Homes and Gardens magazine – a dream come true.
Our biggest project has been our 100% DIY Basement Makeover – it’s now a beautiful space with so much function and filled with projects you could do in your own home!
2. Easy Ways to Eat Well
Robin is a former Registered Dietitian and Ed is an amazing self-taught home cook. We know how to eat healthy and how to make delicious and fast meals.
Ed’s an Instant Pot master (he’s especially proud of this recipe). Robin is a pro at making meal planning easy.
3. Saving Money Strategies
We’ve paid off over $90,000 in consumer debt and school loans! (Start here for our debt story – it’s a bit embarrassing…)
We killed that debt while raising our two kids (now teens), knocking down our mortgage balance and still having fun.
We have boss-level saving money skills. And we can’t help but share! (And Ed is a high school business teacher – so talking about money stuff is his day job.)
4. Family Fun
Having fun is a priority for our family. We love to travel on a budget, of course, and we’ve become quite known for our creative kid birthday parties.
