Tips for the Best Easy Cheesy Pull-apart Garlic Bread

  • Use good fresh bread. A round loaf like you see here is perfect, but anything with a good crust should hold up well
  • Use good cheese. Quality ingredients always matter, but we’ve noticed that getting a decent cheese seems to yield the highest impact in all of our melted cheese recipes
  • When scoring the bread into squares for pulling apart, lay two thick-handled wooden spoons flat on either side of the loaf, on your cutting board. They will act as stops to prevent you from cutting all the way through when making your cuts.
  • Don’t rush the bread out of the oven. Watch it for those final few minutes and leave it long enough for the mozzarella on top to get golden brown. This is when it gets that really great flavour you are after!
